Hemp and cannabis regulatory compliance
Nutrapure Extraction provides services related to the extraction and processing of industrial hemp as defined by the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (the "Farm Bill"). Under federal law, industrial hemp is cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.) with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis. Hemp and hemp-derived products that meet this definition are not controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
You acknowledge and agree that:
- State and local laws vary. Cannabis and hemp regulations differ by state, county, and municipality. Some jurisdictions impose restrictions on hemp-derived products that are more restrictive than federal law, including limits on specific cannabinoids, product types, or sales channels. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether the possession, use, sale, or distribution of hemp-derived products is lawful in your jurisdiction.
- Compliance is your responsibility. If you engage Nutrapure Extraction for processing services, you are responsible for ensuring that the raw materials you provide and the finished products you produce comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, THC concentration limits, licensing requirements, labeling standards, and testing protocols.
- Regulations change. Hemp and cannabis law is evolving at the federal, state, and local level. Legal status that applies today may change. We make no representation that any particular product, formulation, or business activity will remain lawful in any jurisdiction.
- We do not process marijuana. Nutrapure Extraction processes only industrial hemp that meets the federal definition under the Farm Bill. We do not process cannabis that exceeds the 0.3% THC threshold, and we do not provide services related to state-licensed marijuana operations.
FDA disclaimer
Products and services described on this Site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
